Film Badge Radiation
#Badge Film #Badge Film It is a small sensitive film with an area of about 2x3cm (similar to dental film) covered with a layer of opaque plastic to protect it from light. It is placed inside a plastic bag with a window for beta rays to enter. As for #gamma rays, they penetrate the plastic bag and reach the film. Inside the bag there is a barrier of Lead because beta rays are absorbed by part of the film and only gamma rays pass through. By developing the film, it is possible to know the type and quantity of radiation, which depends on the degree of opacity of the film. This film is used to detect the radiation to which workers are exposed, whether in factories, research centres, or hospitals.
